PlaySafe ID has raised $1.12 million in a pre-seed funding round to enhance safety in online gaming, announced in a press release. The funding was led by Early Game Ventures, with participation from Hartmann Capital and Overwolf.

The capital will be used to expand PlaySafe ID's platform, which aims to prevent cheating, hacking, and child exploitation in gaming communities. The company plans to integrate its services with major gaming platforms and target over 250,000 users in the coming months.

PlaySafe ID provides a verified, anonymized digital ID to ensure fair play and accountability without compromising player privacy. This initiative addresses the growing issues of cheating and inappropriate behavior in online games, offering a secure identity layer for developers and communities to enforce fair play across various gaming titles.
