Overlord Labs Raises $7.25 Million for Battery Intelligence Chip
Overlord Labs closed $7.25 million in seed financing, bringing its total funding to $10 million, the company announced in a press release. The total includes a $4.35 million seed extension led by Band of Angels, plus earlier seed capital and non dilutive strategic funding.
The company has working silicon for its GENESIS battery intelligence chip and is validating the product before customer sampling. The chip integrates battery intelligence into silicon and initially targets single cell devices, including smart glasses, wearables, hearables and other edge AI hardware.
Overlord Labs will use the capital for product validation and qualification, customer sampling, firmware and battery algorithm work, and production infrastructure. The company plans to begin volume production in the first half of 2027.
