March 19, 2026
OPTEL Group and Kaster Technologies have announced a partnership to deliver an AI-powered production planning solution for pharmaceutical manufacturers, combining real-time traceability data with intelligent scheduling to improve efficiency and capacity.

OPTEL Group and Kaster Technologies have announced a strategic partnership to bring AI-based production planning intelligence to pharmaceutical manufacturers, according to a press release.

The collaboration integrates Kaster's AI-driven production planning engine with OPTEL's real-time traceability data and life sciences expertise. The combined system aims to align strategic production schedules with real-world manufacturing conditions such as equipment availability, cleaning requirements, and staffing constraints.

The solution has already been deployed in live pharmaceutical environments, including one of Canada's largest sterile injectable manufacturing sites, where it demonstrated measurable gains in production capacity and workflow stability. By leveraging real-time data, the system helps manufacturers increase capacity by up to 20% and improve decision-making without additional capital investment.

With OPTEL's global deployment capabilities across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, the joint solution is now available and will be showcased at the INTERPHEX trade show in New York from April 21 to 23.
