OpenAI and NVIDIA are preparing to announce substantial investments in UK data centers, according to Bloomberg. The companies will collaborate with London-based Nscale Global Holdings on this project, which is expected to involve billions of dollars.

The announcement is anticipated to coincide with a visit to the UK by U.S. President Donald Trump, during which several American companies are expected to reveal significant UK investments. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and NVIDIA's chief Jensen Huang will be part of the delegation visiting the UK.

This investment highlights the growing demand for digital infrastructure driven by advancements in artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The UK government is expected to support the project by providing energy, while OpenAI will contribute its AI tools and technology, and NVIDIA will supply the necessary AI chips.
