Novellia Launches AI Initiative to Improve Breast Cancer Care

Novellia has announced Project EVEREST, an AI-powered initiative to enhance breast cancer treatment adherence, supported by Daiichi Sankyo, Genentech, and AstraZeneca.

Novellia has announced the launch of Project EVEREST, an AI-powered initiative aimed at improving adherence to clinical guidelines in breast cancer treatment. Announced in a press release, this cross-industry effort is supported by Daiichi Sankyo, Genentech, and AstraZeneca.

Project EVEREST is the first AI-enabled, patient-permissioned longitudinal registry focused on real-world treatment adherence in breast cancer. It aims to unify complex medical histories across various healthcare settings to identify and address barriers to consistent, evidence-based cancer care. Researchers from the University of Alabama at Birmingham will analyze these datasets to uncover patterns in care delivery and provide targeted recommendations for improving treatment consistency and patient outcomes.

The initiative will enroll early and metastatic breast cancer patients over a 24-month period, aggregating and analyzing hundreds of thousands of patient records to identify trends and deviations from established treatment guidelines. In its second phase, the project will deliver tailored interventions to support health systems and community oncologists in optimizing care delivery.
