NEXCOM Unveils AI-Enhanced NSA 5200 for Cybersecurity
NEXCOM has launched the NSA 5200, a 1U rackmount solution powered by Intel's 14th Gen Core processor, designed to enhance cybersecurity with AI acceleration, announced in a press release. The NSA 5200 is engineered to meet the demands of real-time threat detection and data encryption, integrating advanced AI inference acceleration through both integrated and discrete GPUs.
The NSA 5200 is built for scalability, allowing businesses to optimize performance for various security workloads. It features a flexible architecture with four DDR5 ECC/non-ECC UDIMM slots, TPM 2.0, and a PCIe 5.0 expansion slot, supporting up to 100GbE per slot to boost Ethernet throughput. This makes it suitable for Zero Trust, SASE, edge computing, and cloud-driven environments.
A performance comparison paper published by NEXCOM highlights the NSA 5200's ability to enhance cybersecurity through AI-powered inference models, optimizing throughput across different configurations. The study compares four AI models to determine the best hardware setup for AI-driven threat detection, maximizing throughput and reducing latency.
