Netwrix Integrates AI Assistants with Access Analyzer via MCP Server
Netwrix has launched a new integration for its Access Analyzer using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, announced in a press release. This integration allows AI conversational assistants like Claude Desktop and Microsoft Copilot to connect with the Access Analyzer, enabling security teams to ask natural-language questions and receive immediate insights into data security issues such as access permissions and sensitive data exposure.
The MCP server integration is designed to enhance productivity by allowing security teams to interact with the Access Analyzer without needing to log into dashboards or write queries. This approach aims to streamline the process of obtaining risk insights and facilitates faster onboarding for new team members.
Netwrix's initiative marks the first use of MCP server integration in the data security market, setting the stage for future AI capabilities in their product lineup. The integration is available to all Netwrix Access Analyzer customers at no additional cost, with instructions accessible on GitHub.
