S&P Global Integrates Financial Data with Anthropic's Claude

S&P Global has partnered with Anthropic to integrate its financial data into the Claude AI platform, enhancing data access for financial professionals.

S&P Global has collaborated with Anthropic to integrate its trusted financial data into Anthropic's AI platform, Claude. This integration, announced in a press release, allows financial professionals such as hedge fund managers and private equity analysts to access S&P Global's datasets seamlessly through Claude.

The integration utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard developed by Anthropic, and is supported by Kensho's LLM-ready API. This API enables large language models to access a variety of S&P Global's datasets, including S&P Capital IQ Financials and earnings call transcripts, using natural language queries. This development is part of Anthropic's Financial Analysis Solution, which aims to provide efficient research capabilities for S&P Global and Anthropic customers.

Bhavesh Dayalji, Chief AI Officer of S&P Global and CEO of Kensho, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering data and insights wherever customers need them, ensuring flexibility and reliability in accessing information across the AI ecosystem.
