Lit Protocol has launched Vincent Early Access, enabling developers to create AI agents for DeFi with secure, user-controlled automation.

Lit Protocol has launched Vincent Early Access, providing developers with tools to build permissioned, non-custodial AI agents for decentralized finance (DeFi). This new platform allows for the creation of AI agents that operate under user-defined rules, ensuring security and transparency in transactions, announced in a press release.

Vincent offers an authentication and execution layer that enables agents to log in, sign, and transact without exposing sensitive keys or tokens. Developers can create apps that include agents with specific abilities, such as borrowing on Aave or swapping on Uniswap, all governed by user-defined policies enforced onchain.

The platform's initial focus is on DeFi, but it is designed to extend to other online services requiring secure, automated operations. Vincent's Early Access includes abilities for lending, swaps, and cross-chain transfers, with plans to expand features and support for additional platforms like Solana.
