Lecturio has acquired SimTutor, a provider of interactive healthcare simulations, to expand its global digital training portfolio and strengthen experiential learning offerings.

Lecturio has acquired SimTutor, a provider of interactive simulation-based tools for healthcare training, announced in a press release. The acquisition expands Lecturio’s portfolio of digital learning solutions designed to support experiential and skills-based education for healthcare professionals worldwide.

SimTutor’s key products, SIMTICS and SimTutor Author, offer over 200 ready-to-use simulations that allow learners to practice clinical and procedural skills in areas such as radiography, respiratory care, infection control, and basic life support. The tools are used by educational institutions and healthcare organizations to enhance both classroom and clinical training.

The acquisition follows Lecturio’s 2024 purchase of Healer from NEJM Group, further integrating simulation-based practice and assessment into its global education platform. With SimTutor’s technologies, Lecturio aims to bridge foundational knowledge with applied skills training in digital clinical education.
