January 16, 2026
LawVu has acquired ClauseBase and introduced two new AI products, LawVu Draft and LawVu Lens, to enhance contract drafting and analysis within its legal workspace.

LawVu has acquired ClauseBase and introduced two new artificial intelligence products for in-house legal teams, announced in a press release. The Belgian company, known for its AI-driven contract drafting technology, will be rebranded as LawVu Draft, while LawVu Lens debuts as an integrated contract analysis engine.

LawVu Draft provides an AI-powered set of tools for drafting and reviewing contracts directly within Microsoft Word. It includes standard templates, reusable clauses, automated risk detection, and a searchable clause library that allows teams to maintain consistency and reduce rework.

LawVu Lens functions as a built-in contract analysis service that automatically reads and structures key clauses and data across large volumes of contracts. The tool supports ongoing contract management and rapid reviews for audits, due diligence, and compliance checks, with traceable results for audit accuracy.

LawVu stated that integrating these tools within its unified legal workspace allows legal departments to adopt AI faster and manage contracts, matters, and documents more efficiently while maintaining governance and security standards.
