Google Cloud Introduces Gemini Enterprise for Legal in Preview
Google Cloud announced in a press release Gemini Enterprise for Legal, an agentic AI solution for legal teams that is now available in preview.
The preview launches with legal teams from Cleary Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Williams & Connolly as customers.
The product is built on Gemini Enterprise and includes legal skills, connectors to legal systems, and access to partner agents. It supports tasks such as brief drafting, citation verification, contract lifecycle management, regulatory monitoring, privacy request handling, contract review, playbook creation, motions to seal, and NDA drafting.
Connectors use Model Context Protocol integrations with platforms including Courtroom5, Docusign, Everlaw, Free Law Project's CourtListener.com database, Harvey, iManage, Legora, NetDocuments, RelativityOne, Solve Intelligence, and Thomson Reuters. The platform includes audit logging, risk management, inherited permissions, ethical wall support, and data isolation inside an organization's private cloud perimeter.
