Lambda Seeks $4 Billion at $14.5 Billion Valuation

Lambda is raising up to $4 billion at a $14.5 billion pre money valuation, according to TechCrunch. Coatue Management and Blackstone are leading the round, which could be Lambda's final private financing before a planned 2027 IPO.

The company's backlog increased from $15 billion in June to $50 billion in September. Most of that increase came from a $35 billion cloud computing agreement with Anthropic, signed in late August.

Lambda also recently raised another $1 billion in private debt to fund its data center expansion. The company previously planned to go public in 2026 but postponed the offering amid market uncertainty.
