Instinct is adding its AI agent to group chats, including conversations with people who do not have an account, according to TechCrunch. The feature can help groups plan travel, organize carpools, manage events and coordinate shared tasks.

A group agent operates separately from each member's personal account and cannot access it. A personal agent must ask for permission before connecting to the group agent, sharing information or taking an action. Users can decide which groups they trust and withdraw that access later.

Pending replies from a personal agent are held when a new member joins a group. Instinct is initially rolling out the feature to early access users and plans to make it available to everyone soon.
