Infosys Recognized for Contribution to CMMI AI Maturity Framework
Infosys has completed and contributed to the CMMI AI Maturity (AIM) Framework and Pilot Assessment, gaining recognition from the CMMI Institute in a press release. The collaboration focused on advancing the AIM framework to assess and operationalize AI maturity across global organizations.
Infosys provided enterprise-scale insights on AI governance, responsible deployment, and measurable outcomes, helping shape how AI maturity can be evaluated in large enterprises. The company was among the first globally to complete the pilot assessment, which examined AI integration across software development, maintenance, testing, and support.
The assessment was conducted with participation from KPMG and covered how AI is embedded in the software engineering lifecycle. Infosys applied the framework across its large delivery environments to validate key dimensions such as risk management, accountability, and business outcome alignment.
Infosys leveraged its AI services suite, Topaz Fabric, to demonstrate structured approaches for scaling AI within enterprise operations. The successful completion of the pilot established a benchmark for consistent and responsible AI adoption across complex organizations worldwide.
