Industrial AI EXPO 2025 Concludes in South Korea
The first-ever Industrial AI EXPO concluded at COEX Magok Convention Center in Seoul, marking a milestone in Korea's AI-driven industrial transformation. Announced in a press release, the event ran from September 3 to 5, featuring 133 companies across 320 booths. It served as a platform for unveiling a wide range of industrial AI equipment and solutions.
The expo opened with high-level activities, including a memorandum of understanding on building a data-sharing ecosystem for manufacturing and an award ceremony recognizing contributions to industrial digital transformation. Notable attendees included executives from HD Hyundai, LG CNS, Microsoft Korea, and other major institutions, highlighting a collective commitment to advancing industrial AI.
The event showcased 12 key industrial AI task areas, such as market forecasting, supply chain optimization, and predictive maintenance. Exhibitors demonstrated AI's potential to enhance efficiency and resilience in manufacturing. Notably, HD Hyundai shared AI adoption cases from shipbuilding and construction equipment, debuting its broader AIX strategy.
Global players like Microsoft, Dassault Systèmes, and NVIDIA, in collaboration with Korean partners, presented AI-driven innovations in manufacturing and design, expanding both domestic B2B pipelines and global collaboration opportunities. The expo also featured programs like the Industrial AI Conference and AI-Tech Seminars, aimed at strengthening the industrial AI ecosystem.
