IBM and AWS are expanding their collaboration to introduce new agentic AI capabilities, including the integration of IBM watsonx Orchestrate with Amazon Q index, as announced in a press release.

IBM and AWS are expanding their collaboration to introduce new agentic AI capabilities, announced in a press release. This initiative includes the integration of IBM watsonx Orchestrate with Amazon Q index, which allows for the creation of a central data repository to enhance AI decision-making. This integration aims to provide personalized experiences by enabling IBM watsonx agents to utilize domain-specific data from applications like Adobe, Salesforce, Slack, and Zendesk.

IBM is also expanding its Granite models and automation software availability via AWS Marketplace. The Granite 3.2 models are now accessible on Amazon Bedrock Marketplace and Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, with plans for further availability through Amazon Bedrock Custom Model Import later this year.

Additionally, IBM is enhancing its AI governance capabilities with new features for lifecycle governance, bias detection, and drift management, ensuring responsible AI deployment. IBM's watsonx Agents and Orchestrate are now available as SaaS and on AWS Marketplace in the U.S., Europe, and Singapore, with an upcoming launch in India.
