Hyperscale Data Expands Michigan Facility for AI and Blockchain

Hyperscale Data has begun converting its Michigan Data Center to support AI solutions, while maintaining Bitcoin mining operations, announced in a press release.

Hyperscale Data, Inc. has initiated a significant expansion of its Michigan Data Center to accommodate artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, announced in a press release. The company is converting part of the facility to support AI operations, while continuing its Bitcoin mining activities.

The Michigan Facility, which spans 34.5 acres and includes a 617,000-square-foot data center, currently operates with 28 megawatts of power. The expansion will see the installation of NVIDIA Blackwell servers, enhancing the center's AI capabilities. Existing AI operations, featuring 16 servers with NVIDIA GPUs, will remain active during the upgrade.

This dual-use model allows Hyperscale Data to leverage its infrastructure for both blockchain and AI applications, ensuring uninterrupted Bitcoin mining while scaling AI operations. The company aims to establish one of the leading dual-use AI and blockchain compute facilities in the United States.
