Hyperscale Data Expands Michigan Data Center Capacity

Hyperscale Data's subsidiary, Alliance Cloud Services, has reached an agreement to add 40 megawatts to its Michigan data center, increasing its capacity to 340 megawatts.

Hyperscale Data, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, Alliance Cloud Services, LLC, has reached an agreement in principle to add an additional 40 megawatts of power to its Michigan data center, according to a press release. This expansion will increase the data center's capacity from approximately 300 megawatts to 340 megawatts.

The agreement involves a collaboration with a local natural gas utility to provide the additional power. This move is part of Hyperscale Data's strategy to enhance its AI infrastructure capabilities. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months following the execution of definitive agreements.

The company is also exploring further options to potentially add another 85 megawatts of power, which would support its transition to high-performance computing services. Hyperscale Data plans to provide ongoing updates as the project progresses.
