Huawei introduced Intelligent RAIL 2.0, a portfolio of 20 solutions for rail construction, passenger and freight services, and infrastructure maintenance.

Huawei announced in a press release the launch of Intelligent RAIL 2.0 at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin. The portfolio includes 20 scenario based solutions for rail construction, passenger and freight services, and the maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.

The solutions combine communications systems, digital platforms and AI. Huawei said they support the transition from GSM-R to FRMCS communications, along with condition based and predictive maintenance for rail equipment.

Huawei supplies the communications and digital platforms, while its industry partners provide modular components for specific rail operations. The company said its rail technology serves more than 50 major railway customers and over 300 urban rail lines covering more than 180,000 kilometers of track.
