The announcement was made at the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, where Dr. Peter Zhou, President of Huawei Data Storage Product Line, highlighted the importance of AI-powered transformation for global carriers.

The new offerings include the New-Gen OceanStor Dorado Converged All-Flash Storage and OceanStor A Series High-Performance AI Storage, designed to handle mission-critical workloads with high IOPS and financial-grade reliability. These solutions aim to integrate seamlessly with cloud-native and AI applications, enhancing carriers' service capabilities.

Huawei also introduced the New-Gen OceanStor Pacific All-Flash Scale-Out Storage, which provides exabyte-level scalability and low power consumption, addressing the cost pressures from emerging services like live streaming and XR games. Additionally, the New-Gen OceanProtect All-Flash Backup Storage offers rapid data recovery, crucial for AI application development and emergency drills.

The company also unveiled the FlashEver business model, which offers flexible purchase options and SLA assurance, ensuring high-quality customer experiences. This model is designed to protect carrier investments by enabling seamless upgrades for live-network equipment.
