Huawei Launches 'Advancing Smart Retail Across Europe' Program
Huawei announced in a press release the launch of its "Advancing Smart Retail Across Europe" program during the Europe Retail Summit 2026 in Shenzhen. The initiative aims to help European retailers accelerate digital and intelligent transformation through the use of AI, cloud computing, data intelligence, and information and communication technology infrastructure.
The program focuses on key retail scenarios including smart stores, intelligent warehousing and logistics, and digital marketing. Huawei plans to collaborate with European retailers and partners to enhance capabilities in store operations, customer experience, omnichannel management, and enterprise operations.
As part of the program, Huawei will provide network, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi 7, and IoT connectivity solutions to improve store efficiency and sustainability. The company also offers AI and data intelligence services through its computing platform and model capabilities, enabling retailers to deploy AI applications for intelligent supply, marketing, and decision-making.
On the cloud side, Huawei Cloud will supply cloud native, Model as a Service, and data intelligence solutions to support agile development and scalable digital upgrades. Huawei stated that it will continue to deepen collaboration with European retail partners to integrate ICT, AI, and cloud technologies for smarter and more efficient retail operations.
