Hippocratic AI Introduces Polaris 5.0, Evidence-Based Healthcare Model
Hippocratic AI announced in a press release the launch of Polaris 5.0, described as the first evidence based AI system for healthcare. The model was developed using data from more than 180 million patient interactions and validated by licensed clinicians in the United States.
Polaris 5.0 is a five trillion parameter constellation powered by a 700 billion parameter core model. It introduces over twenty new clinical skills, including contextual speech recognition, cough detection, drug safety checks, specialty scheduling, and clinical escalation for sensitive scenarios such as suicidal ideation or child protection alerts.
In comparative evaluations, Polaris 5.0 outperformed voice deployable models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google across clinical, regulatory, and conversational benchmarks. The company stated that the model leads in accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and empathetic patient interaction while maintaining faster response times than competing frontier models.
Earlier versions of Polaris achieved 99.89 percent accuracy in clinical guidance and were validated by more than 7,500 clinicians. The new release continues this focus, adding multilingual patient care and improved voice intelligence for real care environments.
