heytruffle Raises Funding for Restaurant AI Phone Concierge

heytruffle, formerly RestoHost, has raised new funding from Preface Ventures to expand its managed AI phone concierge for restaurant groups across the United States, the company said in a press release.

The Fort Lauderdale company builds a custom AI concierge for each restaurant and pairs it with a human team that reviews calls and updates the system each week. The service handles reservations, catering, private events, guest questions, and caller transfers to staff when needed.

As part of the announcement, heytruffle added order taking for pickup and delivery. It also introduced an OpenTable integration that lets its concierge manage reservations inside that platform.

The company said Rreal Tacos, a 12 location restaurant group in Georgia, uses the service across all of its restaurants. heytruffle said the system handles more than 20,000 calls a month for the group and supported the seating of 14,085 guests in a typical month.
