Hans Vestberg Co-Founds Next Phase of US Data Centers with Digi Power X
Former Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg has co-founded the next phase of US Data Centers, Inc. (USDC) with Digi Power X to develop and deploy modular Tier III AI data centers, announced in a press release. Vestberg will serve as Co-Founder and Senior Advisor, supporting the company’s efforts to scale its AI infrastructure platform globally.
USDC will focus on manufacturing and distributing modular data center systems built on its proprietary ARMS (AI-Ready Modular Solution) platform. Each ARMS unit is a self-contained, Tier III-certified facility designed for rapid deployment and to support high-density GPU clusters used in AI training, inference, and generative workloads.
Digi Power X will retain a majority stake in USDC while continuing to operate its energy-efficient digital infrastructure assets. USDC’s initial capital raise values the company at approximately $10 million, with 3.2 million shares of preferred stock issued for $800,000.
The company aims to address the growing demand for AI computing capacity by offering scalable, pre-built infrastructure for hyperscalers, enterprises, and sovereign clients seeking rapid deployment of high-performance compute environments.
