HackerRank Releases Chakra AI Interviewer

Oct 6, 2026
HackerRank made Chakra generally available after the AI interviewer conducted more than 500,000 interviews during a six month beta.

HackerRank made its Chakra AI interviewer generally available on October 5 after a six month beta, according to TechCrunch. The company says Chakra conducted more than 500,000 interviews during testing, with Snowflake, Snorkel and Capgemini among the participating customers.

Chakra gives candidates a task involving a real world code repository and access to an AI assistant. It observes their work, asks follow up questions and evaluates their reasoning, judgment and ability to direct and assess AI output.

The system produces a score and report for hiring managers but does not make the final hiring decision. HackerRank says suspicious activity flags were 70% to 80% lower in Chakra interviews than in comparable traditional assessments, though results varied by geography and candidate seniority.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
