GridGain Enhances Real-Time AI with Platform 9.1
GridGain has announced the general availability of GridGain Platform 9.1, which enhances support for real-time hybrid analytical and transactional processing. Announced in a press release, this latest release allows for simultaneous execution of analytical workloads with ultra-low latency transactional processing, optimizing AI and RAG applications in real time.
GridGain 9.1 introduces advanced analytics capabilities, eliminating the need for separate transactional and analytical systems and slow ETL pipelines. The platform combines enhanced column-based processing (OLAP) and row-based processing (OLTP) in a unified architecture, offering real-time decision-making on fresh data and reducing infrastructure complexity.
The platform also supports scalable full ACID compliance and provides configurable strict consistency, allowing enterprises to tailor their cluster configurations. Additionally, GridGain serves as a feature or vector store, enabling real-time feature extraction and vector embedding generation, and can act as a predictions cache for pre-computed predictions or on-demand predictive models. These features make GridGain a robust foundation for real-time AI applications.
