Golden Gate University has introduced GGU Digital, a new AI-enabled education platform designed to deliver affordable, multilingual degree programs worldwide, with the first courses starting in August 2026.

Golden Gate University has launched GGU Digital, an AI-enabled global education platform aimed at providing affordable degree programs worldwide, announced in a press release. The new division is designed to deliver individualized instruction in multiple languages, leveraging AI tools to support teaching and learning at scale.

GGU Digital builds on the university’s existing global division, GGU Worldwide, which already serves students in more than 25 countries. The initiative was approved by the university’s faculty senate and Board of Trustees and will expand access to degrees supported by AI-driven instruction and multilingual delivery.

The platform is anchored in San Francisco and supported by faculty who are both researchers and founders of AI-focused companies. GGU Digital will integrate AI training across its programs, ensuring students graduate with practical skills in AI applications. The first degree programs under GGU Digital are scheduled to launch in August 2026.
