Flowhub Introduces MCP Connector for AI Integration in Cannabis Retail
Flowhub has launched Flowhub MCP, a connector based on the open Model Context Protocol standard that lets cannabis retailers link directly to AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, according to a press release.
With Flowhub MCP, dispensary operators can use natural language commands to analyze data, automate tasks, and take actions within the Flowhub system. Example commands include adjusting product prices, transferring inventory, or generating marketing deals. Each request is executed with operator approval and recorded for audit tracking.
Flowhub stated that early adopters are already building custom workflows through the connector. The feature allows AI systems to act directly on business data, turning daily administrative work into simple conversational exchanges.
The company describes the MCP connector as part of its open platform approach. Flowhub’s commerce system combines compliance, point of sale, payments, ecommerce, and analytics in one platform that can integrate with external AI tools.
