Cloudflare Brings WebMCP to Nearly 100,000 Commerce.com Stores

Cloudflare and Commerce.com are enabling WebMCP across nearly 100,000 storefront domains, Cloudflare detailed in a company blog post. The experimental browser standard from Google gives AI agents structured tools for tasks such as searching products, checking details, building a cart and generating a checkout link.

The tools run inside the shopper's active browser session on the storefront domain, giving the agent access to the same prices and cart as the shopper. Cloudflare acts as the edge delivery layer, passing tool definitions and requests between the browser and Commerce.com's backend MCP server. Shoppers still complete checkout themselves.

Commerce.com can activate WebMCP across its shared Cloudflare zones while allowing each merchant to opt out through storefront metadata. Cloudflare also added support for custom MCP server paths. If the server is unavailable or the browser does not support WebMCP, the script exits and the storefront loads normally.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
