FANUC America will demonstrate collaborative robots controlled through natural language commands at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago.

FANUC America will demonstrate AI assisted robot programming at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago, the company announced in a press release. The event runs from October 18 to 21.

One demonstration will let attendees give production instructions in natural language to a CRX-20iA collaborative robot. Generative AI will translate the requests into Python code and robot actions. Another system will use machine vision and dynamic motion planning to adjust a CRX-10iA/L robot's path around workers while it presents packages for barcode scanning.

The exhibit will also include coordinated packaging with three collaborative robots, palletizing with a 40 kilogram payload robot, and food handling systems for placing, case packing and palletizing. Other demonstrations will cover conveyor tracking, label verification, vision guided picking and digital twin visualization with NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
