Equinix Expands Collaboration with Cisco and NVIDIA for Global AI Factory Deployment

June 16, 2026
Equinix announced an expanded partnership with Cisco and NVIDIA to deploy the Cisco Secure AI Factory across its global data centers, enabling standardized AI infrastructure and testing environments for enterprises.

Equinix has expanded its collaboration with Cisco Systems, Inc. and NVIDIA to deploy the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA across its global network of data centers, announced in a press release. The initiative aims to simplify enterprise AI deployment by providing standardized AI factory blueprints and automation tools.

The collaboration allows customers to access infrastructure that supports advanced AI workloads, including high interconnection density, specialized power, and advanced cooling. These deployments use NVIDIA reference architectures built for enterprise environments and trusted infrastructure platforms.

Equinix is also partnering with Presidio to establish the Programmable AI Technology Hub (P.A.T.H.) Lab, a facility within Equinix data centers where customers can test and validate AI infrastructure before wider deployment. The lab is built on the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA and offers a production ready environment for enterprises to refine their AI strategies.

Through this combined effort, Equinix, Cisco, NVIDIA, and Presidio aim to provide turnkey AI infrastructure that functions across hybrid environments, including public cloud, on premises, and colocation settings.
