Emerson has introduced the AspenTech AVA AI platform, designed to accelerate AI adoption in industrial operations according to a press release. The platform is built to help companies apply AI safely and effectively in real operating environments.

AVA combines agentic and domain-aware AI capabilities with Emerson’s industrial expertise and first-principles models. It connects data, context, and decision-making across the enterprise, allowing teams to act faster and improve reliability through AI-assisted recommendations embedded in workflows.

The system is data-source agnostic and operates on the AspenTech Inmation Data Platform, which organizes and contextualizes operational technology data across cloud, edge, and on-premise environments. This provides AVA with real time visibility into operations for better decision support.

AspenTech stated that AVA is available with four operational optimization and decision-support advisors. The company also launched AspenTech.ai, an interactive web experience where professionals can explore AVA’s agentic workflows and AI-assisted use cases.
