Duck Creek Acquires Send to Integrate AI Underwriting Platform

July 07, 2026
Duck Creek Technologies has acquired Send Technology Solutions to combine its intelligent core and Agentic AI Platform with Send’s underwriting orchestration engine, creating a unified system for commercial and specialty insurers.

Duck Creek Technologies has acquired Send Technology Solutions, announced in a press release. The acquisition combines Duck Creek’s intelligent core platform with Send’s underwriting orchestration technology to create an integrated system for commercial, specialty, and London Market insurers.

The merged platform connects underwriting processes across the policy lifecycle, linking submission intake, data enrichment, risk assessment, quote decisions, and portfolio monitoring. Duck Creek stated the combined system will help insurers improve underwriting speed and consistency.

Send’s technology processes more than 26 billion dollars in Gross Written Premium and supports complex underwriting operations such as delegated authority, reinsurance, and specialty risks. Following the acquisition, Send will continue to operate as a standalone product, with greater integration into Duck Creek’s Intelligent Insurance Cloud and Agentic AI Platform.

Send’s Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Andy Moss will lead the Send team within Duck Creek as General Manager of Underwriting. The company said it will continue supporting integration with third-party core systems while expanding its capabilities under Duck Creek’s broader infrastructure.
