DeepL Expands to San Francisco and Integrates Mixhalo Team and Technology
DeepL has added the team and technology of Mixhalo, a San Francisco based company known for ultra low latency audio streaming, announced in a press release. The integration expands DeepL Voice to support large and complex live environments such as conferences, major events, and customer support operations.
Mixhalo’s platform, used by organizations including MLB, NASCAR, T-Mobile, and Verizon, delivers synchronized high fidelity audio to thousands of listeners simultaneously with minimal delay. DeepL will incorporate this capability into its real time voice translation service to improve clarity and responsiveness for large audiences.
The announcement also marks the opening of DeepL’s first office in San Francisco. The company stated that nearly half of the US Fortune 500 are already DeepL users, and its US customer base includes NVIDIA, Cisco, and Nasdaq.
DeepL and Mixhalo have already deployed their combined technology through the DeepL Voice API, which powers real time translation across Mixhalo’s live audio platform. The companies plan to demonstrate the system at upcoming events including GITEX Europe 2026 and the Databricks Data and AI Summit.
