Dasher Neuroscience Completes Recruitment for YA-101 Phase 2 Trial

Dasher Neuroscience completed patient recruitment for a global Phase 2 trial of YA-101 for multiple system atrophy, the company announced in a press release.

The trial enrolled 90 participants at clinical sites in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan. It is a global, multicenter, double blind, placebo controlled, dose escalation study evaluating safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy in patients aged 30 and older with multiple system atrophy.

The primary endpoint is the frequency and severity of adverse events. Secondary endpoints include pharmacokinetic measures and clinical efficacy, assessed using the Unified Multiple System Atrophy Rating Scale and the 10 meter walk test.

Dasher said top line clinical data are expected in the first quarter of 2027. YA-101 has FDA Fast Track status and Orphan Drug status in the United States, Japan, and the European Union.
