DarcyIQ Integrates with Epic and athenahealth EHR Systems

March 04, 2026
DarcyIQ has launched native integrations with Epic and athenahealth’s EHR platforms, enabling AI-powered automation for clinical and operational workflows, according to a press release.

DarcyIQ, developed by Innovative Solutions, has launched native integrations with Epic Systems Corporation and athenahealth electronic health record (EHR) systems, announced in a press release. The integrations connect DarcyIQ’s AI capabilities directly with these platforms, allowing healthcare organizations to automate clinical and administrative workflows through natural language interactions.

The Epic integration enables users to query patient charts, summarize clinical notes, and manage scheduling and billing data through conversational AI. It also supports automated reporting for population health, quality measures, and compliance documentation. The integration uses Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture to maintain HIPAA-compliant data security.

With athenahealth’s athenaOne platform, DarcyIQ provides a conversational interface for managing appointments, referrals, and billing. Users can identify revenue leakage, monitor underpaid claims, and generate financial insights in real time. The integration also automates documentation tasks such as encounter summaries and payer communications.

Initial results from healthcare organizations using the integrations indicate a 55% reduction in administrative documentation time and a 40% faster resolution of billing and claims inquiries.
