Daikin Applied Americas has acquired Chilldyne, a company specializing in negative pressure liquid cooling systems for high-performance and AI data centers. The acquisition enhances Daikin Applied's portfolio of efficient, leak-resistant cooling technologies designed for hyperscale data centers.

Daikin Applied Americas has acquired Chilldyne, a company known for its negative pressure liquid cooling systems for high-performance and AI data centers, announced in a press release.

Chilldyne’s patented liquid cooling distribution unit uses a negative pressure system that delivers chip-level cooling while reducing the risk of leaks common in traditional liquid cooling. The system removes heat directly from processors through cold plates, supporting the latest GPUs while improving energy efficiency and reducing hardware costs.

Daikin Applied said the acquisition strengthens its data center solutions portfolio, enabling it to offer integrated cooling systems for hyperscale and next-generation AI data centers. The company stated that this move aligns with its strategy to deliver comprehensive, high-efficiency cooling solutions for mission-critical environments.
