Cursor Expands AI Coding Assistant to Web and Mobile
Cursor has expanded its AI-powered coding assistant to web and mobile platforms, announced on their website. This move allows users to work with Cursor Agents on any desktop, tablet, or mobile browser, and even install the app as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for a native experience on iOS or Android.
The web and mobile versions of Cursor Agents offer functionalities similar to those available in the integrated development environment (IDE). Users can write code, answer complex questions, and manage tasks such as launching bug fixes or building new features in the background. The platform also supports collaboration, enabling team members with repository access to review agent diffs, pull requests, and create pull requests directly from the web interface.
Additionally, Cursor Agents can be integrated with Slack, allowing teams to receive notifications when tasks are completed and trigger agents using "@Cursor" in conversations. This integration aims to streamline workflows and enhance team collaboration across different platforms.
