Corgi Launches Reinsurance Platform With Digital Underwriting
Corgi announced in a press release the launch of Corgi Re, a platform that applies its underwriting technology to reinsurance. The platform is designed to help insurance carriers transfer risk and access additional capacity.
Corgi Re combines digital underwriting tools with a streamlined operating model. It aims to replace parts of the manual review process, including work handled through spreadsheets and lengthy underwriting cycles.
The platform will operate within Corgi's regulated insurance infrastructure. Its launch expands the company beyond direct coverage for startups and technology businesses into capacity and risk management services for other insurers.
