
Collide Secures $5M to Enhance AI Platform for Energy Sector
Collide has secured $5 million in a seed funding round led by Mercury Fund, as announced in a press release. The funding will be used to enhance and accelerate the development of its generative AI platform tailored for the energy sector. This platform aims to provide oil and gas professionals with a specialized knowledge base, enabling more efficient and data-driven operations.
Collide's AI platform integrates retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and advanced large language models (LLMs) to deliver precise and energy-focused insights. Unlike general-purpose AI platforms, Collide's solution is built on a comprehensive, industry-specific knowledge base, ensuring accuracy and reliability by focusing solely on pertinent energy content.
The platform currently serves both public and private enterprise clients in the oil and gas industry, boasting over 6,000 users across 122 countries. By streamlining workflows, Collide aims to free energy professionals to focus on high-impact decisions, ultimately decreasing costs and increasing revenue.
