Cohere Health has partnered with Microsoft to integrate its AI-powered prior authorization technology with Microsoft Dragon Copilot, announced in a press release. The collaboration aims to automate care requests at the point of care, allowing clinicians to receive real-time approvals and reduce administrative workload.
The integration combines Dragon Copilot's ambient listening capabilities with Cohere Health's clinically trained AI to process structured and unstructured patient data, including notes and orders. This allows providers to submit care requests and receive feedback instantly during patient visits.
Cohere Health's system can automate up to 90% of prior authorization requests while maintaining a reported 94% provider satisfaction rate. The collaboration is designed to minimize manual data entry, reduce communication delays between providers and health plans, and improve the efficiency of care delivery.
