The company said the unit brings together consulting, engineering, and implementation teams. It will support clients in building, deploying, and running agent based AI systems tied to their business context.

Cognizant said the unit is part of its AI Builder strategy. The work is designed to remain independent of a specific platform, model, or cloud provider.
