Cisco Systems, Inc. has unveiled a new AI factory architecture in collaboration with Nvidia, designed to enhance security and simplify the deployment of AI infrastructure. Announced in a press release, the Cisco Secure AI Factory aims to integrate security at every layer of the AI stack, from applications to infrastructure.

The collaboration builds on a previously expanded partnership between the two companies, focusing on providing validated reference architectures. The Secure AI Factory will leverage Cisco's security solutions, such as Cisco AI Defense and Hybrid Mesh Firewall, alongside NVIDIA's Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform. This integration is intended to offer enterprises a flexible and secure foundation for AI workloads.

The architecture will feature components like Cisco UCS AI servers, Cisco Nexus networking solutions, and high-performance storage from partners like Pure Storage and NetApp. The solution is expected to be available for purchase by the end of 2025, with many components already accessible.
