Workato has launched its AI Research Lab in San Francisco, focusing on developing autonomous enterprise agents, as announced in a press release.

Workato has launched its AI Research Lab in San Francisco, focusing on advancing the development of autonomous enterprise agents, announced in a press release. The lab aims to integrate cutting-edge research directly into Workato's platform, enhancing customer experiences with elite AI agents.

The lab will be led by Yasser Shaaban, Vice President of AI Research, and will focus on solving challenges in agent reliability and adaptability. It will also serve as a hub for AI developers and enterprise builders, hosting meetups and workshops to foster collaboration and innovation.

Workato has also appointed Adam Seligman as Chief Technology Officer and General Manager for AI Incubation. The lab will work with customers across various industries to develop agents for both front and back office functions, with early deployments already underway.

To accelerate its AI roadmap, Workato has acquired xmad.ai, a frontier AI-research company, and appointed Dr. Anshu Shrivastava as Chief AI Advisor to guide the lab's research direction.
