CellCarta has added Tempus as the second commercial laboratory partner in its CDx Commercialization Lab Network to support oncology companion diagnostics in U.S. practice.

CellCarta has added Tempus as the second commercial laboratory partner in its CDx Commercialization Lab Network, the company announced in a press release.

The agreement adds Tempus to a network built to support oncology companion diagnostics for biopharma sponsors. CellCarta said it will develop and validate the companion diagnostic, generate analytical and clinical evidence, support regulatory submissions, and perform centralized immunohistochemistry and tissue testing.

Through Tempus Hub, healthcare providers can order tests, sample testing is routed to CellCarta, and results are sent back to ordering providers. Tempus joins Sonic Healthcare USA as the second member of the network.

CellCarta said the network is part of its CDx Accelerator Model, which covers four stages: Build, Validate, Launch, and Transfer. After approval, CellCarta activates commercial laboratory partners to support launch plans for centralized companion diagnostics.
