Catalight and Cognoa Partner to Expand AI Supported Autism Diagnosis and Care

April 22, 2026
The Catalight Group and Cognoa have formed a partnership connecting Cognoa's FDA authorized Canvas Dx diagnostic tool with Catalight's national behavioral health network to accelerate autism diagnosis and treatment access.

Catalight Group and Cognoa have announced a collaboration to link early autism diagnosis with connected care pathways, according to a press release. The partnership integrates Cognoa's FDA authorized diagnostic tool, Canvas Dx, with Catalight's behavioral health network that includes more than 15,000 practitioners serving around 25,000 patients annually.

Canvas Dx uses AI trained on diverse datasets to help clinicians diagnose or rule out autism in children as young as 18 months. The system enables primary care physicians to deliver diagnostic results in days rather than months, after which patients can be referred directly to Catalight for personalized treatment. Catalight can begin care within ten business days following assessment.

The collaboration aims to address national shortages of qualified autism evaluators and reduce long wait times for diagnosis. It also supports value based care models, allowing both organizations to track measurable outcomes from diagnosis through treatment. Catalight reports that its approach has achieved a 30 percent reduction in costs while maintaining or improving clinical results.

By linking diagnostic technology with an established care network, the two organizations intend to create a continuous and transparent process for families, providers, and payers to monitor progress and outcomes across the autism care journey.
