Carrier Enhances Abound Platform with AI for Smarter Building Management

Carrier Global Corporation has introduced a significant upgrade to its Abound Insights platform, incorporating advanced AI-powered capabilities to enhance building management. This upgrade, announced in a press release, aims to empower building operators by optimizing operations, resources, and maintenance across their portfolios.

The enhanced platform features interactive maps with AI-enhanced markers, providing actionable operations and maintenance recommendations. It also includes an updated site list view with advanced filters and export capabilities, allowing users to streamline planning and tracking by downloading site lists, equipment details, and work order reports.

According to Carrier, these enhancements enable building operators to manage their entire portfolio more efficiently, improving energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and reducing operational costs. Over the past year, the Abound platform has reportedly saved customers over 650 million kWh of energy and avoided more than 40,000 technician dispatches, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.
