Bottomline has announced plans to introduce an embedded artificial intelligence agent within its Global Cash Management and Payments Hub, reports The Paypers. The AI agent, named Bea, is designed to assist corporate finance teams with treasury, liquidity, and cash management tasks through conversational interactions.

Bea will serve as a digital assistant for finance professionals, providing responses to questions about account balances, cash forecasts, and internal payments. The system combines a large language model with predictive analytics to deliver real-time insights and streamline decision-making processes.

According to the company, the AI agent will offer role-based personalization, allowing each user to access the most relevant financial information. By replacing manual navigation and dashboards with natural language prompts, Bea is intended to simplify daily treasury operations and enhance efficiency.

The rollout of Bea is planned for early 2026 as part of Bottomline’s Treasury and Cash Management platform, where it will function as a secure, conversational interface for finance and compliance teams.
