Boltz Partners with Takeda to Deploy Biomolecular AI Models in Research
Boltz has announced a collaboration with Takeda to deploy its biomolecular AI models and platform across Takeda's research organization, according to a press release.
The collaboration gives Takeda scientists access to Boltz's proprietary foundation models for structure prediction, affinity estimation, and generative design. These include BoltzMol-1 and BoltzProt-1, which have been described as the company’s most advanced biomolecular models.
Takeda research teams will use the Boltz Lab interface and Boltz API to integrate these tools into existing workflows. The API allows programmatic access and can connect with large language model agents for natural language orchestration of design and prediction tasks.
Boltz will also collaborate with Takeda on specific programs to fine-tune models for selected targets. Takeda will retain ownership of any compounds generated using the Boltz platform.
